The recognition for the Biggest Film Disappointment is given to the film which failed to live up to the Box Office and audience expectations set by the actors and producers of the film prior to the release.
Priyanka Chopra performance was splendid but the screenplay of the film was slow and lacked the thrill or drama necessary for the audience to have sympathy for the protagonist as she fails to find love.
#4. Patiala House - Directed by Nikhil Advani (T-Series, Hari Om Entertainment Co., Credence Motion Picture, People Tree Films Pvt. Ltd)
It was hard to believe that this film was directed by the same director of 'Kal Ho Naa Ho' as the drama was so far from reality that it left many wondering what the writers were thinking. The laughable acting by Akshay Kumar didn't help support the film either.
#3. Love U Mr. Kalakaar - Directed by S. Manasvi (Rajshri Productions Pvt Ltd)
This movie was supposed to revisit the success of 'Vivah' but the predictable story line could not help the film reach success at the Box Office. It was also supposed to catapult Tusshar Kapoor as a bankable solo hero after his stint with muti-starrer comedies, however, the film's failure has cemented his position as a reliable supporting star and not the main actor.
#2. Always Kabhi Kabhi - Directed by Roshan Abbas (Eros Entertainment, Red Chillies Entertainment)
Shahrukh Khan exclaimed that this film will make us feel the love from our school days but all the film delivered was a sloppy script with songs that tried too hard to be cool. Even the hyped Shahrukh item song was a dud.
#1. Mausam - Directed by Pankaj Kapoor (Vistaar Religare Film Fund, Cinergy, Eros International Media Ltd)
Mausam was supposed to be the next big love story that was supposed to rival a love story done by Yash Chopra however the movie dragged and there was no connection with the audience.
