The album starts with a light flute and acoustic guitar arrangement from the song 'Rabba Mein Toh Mar Gaya Oye". The flute reminds me of Pritam's 'Bheegi Si Bhaagi Si' from RAAJNEETI however the similarities end there as the song is beautifully composed by Pritam and perfectly sung by Shahid Mallya. Also special mention goes to the flute solo in the midway of the song, it is absolutely marvelous.

'Sajh Daj Ke' starts with women singing in sangeet and then the Mika Singh takes over to deliver a fun filled Bhangra/Punjabi dance track. Definitely add this song to your playlist.

'Ik Tu Hi Tu Hi' is the best song of the album and in contention for the best song of the year it is soulful and melodic. Again the flute is spectacular and the antara is haunting. Special mention goes to the 'Mehfil Mix' by the Wadali Brother, it is simply amazing! Both versions are must buys!

'Poore Se Zara Sa Kam Hai' is quite different from the other songs in the album as it is neither melodic or danceable its just a timepass song. It will work well in the film but as a standalone song it doesn't work.

'Aag Lage Us Aage Ko' is another song which doesn't work as a standalone song but it may work in the film. The song is very tense however I don't understand why Pritam and Pankaj Kapur decided to include these two songs in the album since they clearly are not meant to be singles.

'Mallo Malli' ends the album. It is club track which is doesn't really engage the listener too much. The popping techno sounds is the highlight of the song which doesn't say much for the song but I'm sure once the video for the song is released the song will be better appreciated.

Overall, even though the album starts with three fantastic songs- one of which has a fantastic second version, I think you should definitely buy the album because the those three songs are some of the best of the year so far.
