Best of Bollywood 2012 - Biggest Musical Disappointment

The recognition for Big Music Disappointment of 2012 is given to the Film Soundtrack which failed to live up to the expectations set by the history of the music associated with the Actors, Producers and most importantly the music directors of the film.

#5 - Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi (Jeet Ganguly)
Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Farah Khan and a revived Jeet Ganguly presented dated music that was a bit annoying to listen to. The bright spot was Khatti Meethi from Shreya Ghoshal despite the musicality being a bit like karaoke.

#4 - Raaz 3 (Jeet Ganguly,Rashid Khan)
The RAAZ franchise is known for great music especially with the backing of  Vishesh Films and Emraan Hashmi. Sadly, the songs were not anything special like the last films and failed to haunt the listeners.

#3 - Dangerous Ishhq (Himesh Reshammiya)
The songs for Karisma's comeback was not that bad if it was released 10 years but it was the length and the excessive loops in the background that disappointed Himesh fans as this was also the start to his comeback in music.

#2 - Tezz (Sajid-Wajid)
TEZZ had one good song while the others were atrocious to mediocre. The melody mass music makers Sajid-Wajid missed big time in creating hit music as the songs were uninspiring.

#1 - Joker (G.V. Prakash Kumar, Gaurav Dagaonkar)
First big miss for Joker's music was that G.V. Prakash Kumar is A.R. Rahman's nephew?! Yes he made this crap called music with Shrish Kunder as lyricist. The one decent song was Kafirana which was  composed by Gaurav Dagaonkar. Sing Raja was pure stupidity, Jugnu was a waste of Udit Narayan's talent, and Yeh Joker was a big bore. Shrish Kunder didn't follow up JAAN-E-MANN well with JOKER's bad music and that's why it is the biggest music disappointment of 2012.

Just Missed the list: Ferrari Ki Sawari (Pritam)

Best of Bollywood 2012 - Worst Poster

The recognition for Worst Bollywood Poster of 2012 is given to the film whose poster was lacked originality, appeal, and was not good portrayal of the film.

#5 - Challo Driver (Orange Canvas Productions)

Kicking off the worst poster of the year countdown is CHALLO DRIVER. There wasn't really anything wrong with the poster other than how basic it looks. Granted it was a B-grade flick from a small production house but a film needed to fill the slot and unfortunately it was CHALLO DRIVER.

#4 - Ghost (Owl Village Films Pvt. Ltd)

Nothing screams a great comeback for a Shiney Ahuja like this very scary poster from GHOST. Who are we kidding I was not enticed by the half seductive look by Sayali Bhagat nor interested in the dimly lit hallway in the poster. Maybe that's why it flopped.

#3 - 3 Bachelors (UV News Media & Communication Limited)

Yes this film was delayed so it would be unfair to judge the poster but seriously this would be bad even if it did release 5 years ago. The cheesy smile from Sharman Joshi and the uncomfortable looks from the girls just makes a sad situation for this film. By the way, what's up with those random stars?

#2 - Joker (UTV Motion Pictures, Three's Company, Hari Om Entertainment Co.)

Okay I'll give you guys a heads up, this will not be the last time JOKER will be in a worst-something countdown for this year. Anyways, for a film that was supposed to be a visual delight and 3-D appeal, what-is-this? The graphics is terrible, Akshay Kumar looks ridiculous in those shoes and the aliens are vegetables. Need I say more?

#1 - Tezz (Eros International, United 7 Entertainment Ltd)

When I saw this poster I knew TEZZ was in big trouble in becoming successful. And then the trailer came and pretty much confirmed that the film will flop. Anyways, poor graphics and that blank look from Kangana Ranuat is not a good way of attracting viewers.

Please keep checking the blog daily until the end of the year for more Best of Bollywood 2012 countdowns as tomorrow the best poster will be revealed!
